Our guest Iani Chihaia analysed in depth the relationship between feed ingredient prices, additive shortages and new feed alternatives, concluding that feed manufacturers should rethink feed formulations without compromising the quality of the final product.
Indeed, Iani clarified that ingredient or additive substitution must be done while maintaining animal health, performance and sustainable production goals. The focus on “lysine” was also explained, as well as the strategies that animal nutritionists such as Dr. Iani must adopt to address the current crisis and find appropriate solutions.
